Natalia Botvinnik

Web & Graphic Designer, Illustrator

I have been passionate about art and design for as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to have been accepted into a prominent school of fine arts in Moscow, Russia at the age of six and have studied drawing and painting there for nine years. I have been following my interests in visual arts ever since and have studies with various teachers over the years. In 2003 I moved to Boston. Here my artwork has been routinely featured in art exhibitions such as the Boston Globe Art Exhibit, Newton Free Library Annual Awards Show, Boston University Web and Graphic Design Exhibits and others. While in high school, my work has been nominated for and received several awards including Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards Gold Key for my drawings, Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards Portfolio Nominee and 1st place in Newton North High School Seniors competition.

My interest in visual arts and design set me on a career path of graphic design and illustration. I received a BFA in Graphic Design from Boston University with a minor in Advertising. I have been working as a web and graphic designer and illustrator for over 10 years. Over the course of my career I had a chance to design and illustrate for many interesting projects including large trade show displays, kids’ restaurant menus, landing pages with up to 3 million clickthroughs, advertisement banners in high traffic locations, email blasts for marketing campaigns, print advertisements in high circulation publications and all kinds of other brand identity and marketing materials. I have designed creative User Interfaces for mobile games and engaging, user-friendly interfaces for websites. I have worked with many companies including TJX, Legal Sea Foods, AAA, Boston Globe, TNT Vacations and others.
