Problem

Legal Sea Foods wanted to become more family-friendly. As part of this initiative, they commissioned a new kids' menu and a website targeted at their youngest patrons.

Approach

The menu and the website would feature a common theme and a common cast of whimsical characters making their kids' website an interactive extension of the menu featuring animation and interactive educational games.

Solution

I was hired by Legal Sea Foods to create seven animated characters which appeared throughout the website. I also created some illustrations for interactive games (Word Search, Puzzle, Crossword and Trivia) and helped to animate them. My illustrations were used in the company's internal newsletter and on kids' menus at Legal Sea Foods restaurants throughout the country.
